The ace Chicago Illinois rapper gained attention as he started uploading his tracks to YouTube. The rapper first released songs such as the Come Up and Never Cared and then made his debut on SoundCloud through the mixtape of his official POLO.G SOUNDCLOUD. Gang With Me marked his first hit single which was followed by another hit The Finer Things. It was composed while in prison. It was his debut single and was able to get millions of YouTube views. Record labels from major companies were beginning to take notice. Pop Out with Lil Tjay is the first single to be released under Columbia Records' distribution contract. The track was watched millions of times on YouTube and reached at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. This is the first time that Polo G charted a track.
