Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is from a multicultural family. Her birthplace was in South London. Her father is a Nigerian-Swiss, while her mother was English. She was raised on a south London council estate, and went to The Brit School at age fourteen. She graduated with a BA in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. In her time at the school, she performed in a variety of stage productions like King Henry V's princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting journey began in the series Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making guest appearances for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. She then appeared in Elisha in the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In the same time, she starred as Ollie in six episodes each of Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. The year 2008 saw her landed the part in the role of Bambi on The ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl, appearing in three and two series. Madekwe was a part of the comedy How to Lose Friends and Alienate people (2008). Theatre credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe made her US debut on the drama The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes on The CW before being cancelled. She was cast in February 2011 in the role of Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe's departure from the series was officially announced in May of 2013. After two years as a main character, she made a guest performance in the first episode of season 3. Between 2014 and the year 2016, she appeared on Salem as Tituba. In June 2012, Madekwe married her long-time boyfriend actor Iddo Goldberg. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also had a role alongside her in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress that was nominated two times for the Gemini Award, is a member of the large Hamilton family. Ashley Leggat was born to Roy and Patty and her other siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley's brothers were all extremely athletic and played baseball and hockey in the winter as well as in the summer. They grew up playing the arenas and baseball. Ashley did not have the ability to actually walk. She was a dancer. When she reached two and a half when she was a little older, she began to take part in Baby Ballet. Ashley was captivated by dancing at the age of. Ashley continued to compete throughout high school with top divisions like tap, Jazz, Ballet and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and much more. She was crowned the top soloist at each of the most prestigious dance competitions like, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance to name a few.
